I’m a proud mom to girls and know firsthand the joys, chaos, and constant juggling that come with raising a busy family. Like many households in Stittsville, ours balances work, school, sports, activities, and the day-to-day realities of family life.
I understand how important reliable services, safe streets, recreation access, and healthcare close to home are because my family depends on them too.
We love Stittsville for its parks and trails, family-friendly neighbourhoods, strong sense of community, and the way neighbours show up for one another when it matters most.
Where I Started
My career began in social services, where I learned the importance of resilience, compassion, and truly listening. It taught me that behind every public policy is a real person, and that no one should feel ignored by the system.

In my years at the City, I’ve specialized in managing complex projects and improving traffic safety. I enjoy finding practical ways through complicated processes to deliver real results – and I’m ready to put that experience to work for Stittsville.

Through my work at City Hall, I’ve seen how decisions are made and what it takes to move things forward. I also understand where challenges can slow progress – and how to navigate them. Here in Stittsville, I’ve built strong connections with residents and have a clear understanding of the everyday issues people are facing.
As a mom raising five daughters in this community, I’m personally invested in building a place where people of all ages and backgrounds feel safe, supported, and connected.

1. Why are you running for City Council?
I’m running because I care deeply about Stittsville and want to ensure our community grows in a way that supports residents. With my experience at City Hall and in Councillors’ offices, I know how to turn community priorities into real, practical results.
2. What makes you qualified for this role?
I’ve worked in two Councillors’ offices—including here in Stittsville—and currently work in a strategic program and policy role with the City of Ottawa. I understand how decisions are made and how to move things forward. I also bring real-life perspective as a parent raising five children in this community.
3. What are your top priorities?
My priorities are:
- Smart, responsible growth
- Safer streets and neighbourhoods
- A more connected community
- Better access to local services
These priorities reflect what I hear from residents every day.
4. What does “smart growth” mean to you?
Smart growth means ensuring that infrastructure and services—like roads, schools, parks, and healthcare—keep pace with development. Growth should benefit our community, not strain it.
5. How will you address traffic and road safety?
I will support practical, data-driven solutions like traffic calming measures, safer school zones, and improvements to residential streets. Every neighbourhood has unique needs, and solutions should reflect that.
6. How will you support families in the community?
As a parent, I understand the challenges families face. I’ll advocate for better access to services, safe neighbourhoods, strong schools, and community spaces where families can connect and thrive.
7. What will you do to support local businesses?
Local businesses are key to a vibrant community. I will support thoughtful development and policies that help businesses grow, while also encouraging local events and initiatives that bring more people into our commercial areas.
8. How will you improve access to healthcare and services?
I will advocate for increased access to family doctors and expanded healthcare services in the west end. I’ll also work with community partners to strengthen supports for seniors, youth, families, and newcomers.
9. How will you stay connected with residents?
Being accessible and responsive is a priority. I’ll maintain open communication, attend community events, and ensure residents have clear ways to share their concerns and ideas.
10. What sets you apart from other candidates?
I combine hands-on City Hall experience with strong community involvement. I understand both how the system works and what residents need—and I focus on practical solutions that get results.
11. How have you been involved in the community?
I’ve organized local events like the Stittsville Community Easter Egg Hunt and neighbourhood initiatives, supported fundraisers, and helped coordinate emergency response efforts during events like the derecho and local flooding.
12. How can I get involved in your campaign?
You can volunteer, request a lawn sign, attend events, or sign up for updates. Most importantly, I encourage you to share your ideas—this campaign is about the community.
