School zones should be the safest areas in the city. The provincial decision to cancel Automated Speed Enforcement cameras has undermined road safety efforts, putting our kids at risk. I'm still mad about it, and I think Stittsville residents should be too. ![]()

Today we visited Connections, one of Stittsville’s newest neighborhoods, located west of the CTC. We chatted with neighbours about why they chose to call Stittsville home and some of the challenges that arise settling into a new community. We had another team out in Blackstone delivering postcards. Team work makes the dream work.

I’m incredibly excited to take this step.![]()

Stittsville is home for me and my family. It’s where I’m raising my daughters and where I’ve built strong connections in the community. There’s something special about this place. It has that small-town feel, caring neighbours, and a real sense of belonging.![]()

But I’m also hearing loud and clear that growth is putting pressure on our roads, our transit, and our services. We’re feeling the impacts on our day-to-day lives.![]()
